The home studio!

First thing that I would like to discuss is the question:
"What is a home studio ?"

In my opinion, home studio like the word say, is meant to be at home. It is different of a project studio, that is more like a low budget studio, that is not necessary needs to be at someone's home.Home studio is a place where a piece of music can be recorded. If you just need an old computer and a freeware software to record your music. You can say that you have a home studio. However, a home studio is more than just a simple computer, in fact people that like audio, always tend to spend a lot of money with this, some of these people are amateurs and just want to have some fun and others do really professional sessions in home environments.
The good thing about a home studio associated with the internet is that it has made a lot of people be able to develop their musical ideas and share with the rest of the world.

The picture above the post is my current set up that consist of:

First post!

Hi everyone!

I created this blog with the objective to share my experience as sound engineer, working in my home studio!

I don't think there is an absolute true, working with audio! With this concept, there is no wrong or right thing, sometimes things work well in a situation and don't work at all in others.Of course there are some rules that we need to follow, no one records a great song just by mistake. But we can not forget the experimental process involved in a creation and craft of an audio project! Specially these days, that we can record at home and there is no time limit to try different ideas!!! (Hooray!!!!!!)

So based in this thoughts, I would like to invite all of you to to share and discuss your experience with audio.

Cheers
